How playing pickleball and the fellowship of the pickleball community helped me get through cancer treatments.
I was diagnosed with cancer and was prescribed external radiation treatments over a long period of time. One of the side effects of the treatments is fatigue. The doctors and nurses advised me to stay as active as I could in order to push through the symptoms. Since I really love pickleball, my wife and I were trying to play almost every day in order to combat the tiredness. Staying active in this way helped me keep my energy level up in order to get through the treatments. Not only has pickleball been good in that respect but it's comprised of a caring community where you are always making new friends. Pickleball is always a whole lot of fun and fellowship of which you can look forward to, no matter what else is happening in your life. That is why we love the Ozark pickleball community!
